ADCR Farhan Ahmed to Assume Additional Charge as CDA Deputy Commissioner for Three Months
PAS officer Farhan Ahmed, currently serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) in Islamabad Capital Territory, has been assigned the additional charge of Deputy Commissioner, Capital Development Authority (CDA), for an initial period of three months or until a regular appointment is made.

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control has assigned the additional charge of Deputy Commissioner, Capital Development Authority (CDA) to Farhan Ahmed (PAS/BS-18), who is currently serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
According to an official notification issued by the ministry on July 22, 2026, the appointment has been made with the approval of the competent authority. Farhan Ahmed will hold the additional charge for an initial period of three months, in addition to his existing responsibilities, or until the appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever occurs earlier.

Farhan Ahmed belongs to the 47th Common Training Programme of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). He has been serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) in Islamabad and has been entrusted with several administrative and revenue-related responsibilities.
The notification states that the additional assignment takes effect immediately and will remain subject to the relevant rules governing the posting of a permanent office holder.
