ISLAMABAD: A large number of children carrying Pakistan’s national flags participated in a Kids Azadi Walk organised by Markazi Muslim League Islamabad as Independence Day celebrations gather momentum in the federal capital.

Children Participate in Independence Month Activities

The walk began from Shaheed-e-Millat and proceeded towards the National Press Club, with young participants carrying green-and-white flags and taking part in activities centred on Pakistan’s Independence Month.

According to the organisers, the initiative was aimed at celebrating the country’s independence while encouraging children to participate in patriotic activities and learn about the significance of freedom and national identity.

Leaders of Markazi Muslim League Islamabad said the Kids Azadi Walk was part of activities planned during August to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day.

Organisers said Independence Month would be celebrated through various programmes across the country, with children and families encouraged to participate in events commemorating Pakistan’s independence.

The walk comes as Independence Day activities begin to increase across Islamabad ahead of August 14, with national flags and green-and-white decorations becoming increasingly visible across the capital.
