Islamabad’s third anti-polio campaign of 2026 completed its first day successfully, with over 148,783 children vaccinated across the federal capital.A review meeting chaired by ADC Headquarters Uzair Ali Khan assessed the performance of polio teams, field challenges, and security arrangements. Officials said the campaign aims to vaccinate 447,614 children in Islamabad.Polio teams are actively visiting homes, schools, and public places to ensure maximum coverage. Authorities urged citizens to fully cooperate with vaccination teams, emphasizing that complete eradication of polio is only possible through public support.
