NCCIA Books 114 Foreigners in Gulberg Green Cyber Case

ISLAMABAD: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has registered a case against 114 foreign nationals over alleged illegal cyber activities being carried out from Sparco Tower in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad, according to details contained in the FIR.
Case Registered Under PECA and PPC
The case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016, and the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), with 114 foreign nationals named as accused.
According to the FIR, M/s E-Berg Technologies was allegedly operating under the cover of an information technology business while engaging in activities that investigators described as unlawful. The FIR alleges that the company was primarily involved in the production, transmission and sale of pornographic content.
Investigators further alleged that male and female employees had been hired for the production and commercial distribution of such material. These remain allegations contained in the criminal case and are subject to investigation and judicial determination.
NCCIA Seizes Evidence During Raid
The NCCIA raid team seized material and other evidence from the premises during its operation, according to the FIR. The agency is Pakistan’s dedicated cybercrime investigation body and maintains an Islamabad office as part of its nationwide network.
The FIR also alleges that the business was involved in online cyber fraud, deception and impersonation while presenting itself as a legitimate IT operation. Investigators have further alleged serious violations of the business conditions under which the company had been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
One unusual element mentioned in the case is the alleged recovery of uniforms resembling those of senior Vietnamese law-enforcement officials from the suspects. The purpose for which the uniforms were allegedly being kept or used will form part of the investigation.
Investigation Underway
Sparco Tower is a high-rise twin-building project located in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad; the developer’s own website identifies the project as a 20-storey development with three floors of parking.
The FIR represents the prosecution’s allegations at this stage and does not constitute a finding of guilt. Further investigation will determine the individual roles of the named suspects, the nature and extent of the alleged digital operation, and whether additional individuals or entities are implicated.
