CTO Kainat Azhar Orders Zero-Tolerance Traffic Enforcement on Srinagar Highway
CTO Kainat Azhar Khan personally briefs field officers, directing strict action against lane violations, overspeeding, dangerous driving, and other life-threatening traffic offences under a zero-tolerance policy.
ISLAMABAD: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan visited Srinagar Highway to review operational preparedness and personally brief officers deployed under the “Zero Violation Day” enforcement campaign.
During the field visit, the CTO met traffic officers and enforcement personnel stationed along the highway and directed them to launch an impartial and comprehensive crackdown against motorists violating traffic laws. She emphasized that lane discipline, overspeeding, dangerous driving, reckless overtaking, and other serious traffic offences would be dealt with strictly.
Directions to Traffic Officers
Addressing the officers, Kainat Azhar Khan instructed them to ensure effective implementation of traffic regulations and maintain a zero-tolerance policy against violations that endanger public safety. She stressed that protecting the lives and property of road users must remain the top operational priority.
The CTO also called for professional conduct, consistent enforcement, and visible policing to improve road discipline on one of Islamabad’s busiest corridors.
The “Zero Violation Day” initiative aims to enhance compliance with traffic laws, reduce accidents, and promote safer driving habits across the federal capital.
