CDA Warns of Sealing, Demolition at Fazlur Rehman Residence
The authority has given the property’s named owner 15 days to remove alleged setback construction, guard posts and a generator from CDA land, warning that non-compliance could lead to enforcement action.

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a 15-day notice over alleged building-regulation violations at a house in Sector G-6/4 that has been identified in the information provided as Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s residence.
The notice, dated October 30, 2026, is addressed to Amanullah s/o Muhammad Younus, identified in the document as the property’s owner and occupant. It concerns House No. 7 on Street No. 83.
The document lists three alleged violations under the Islamabad Capital Territory Building Control Regulations: unauthorised construction in the setbacks, guard posts on CDA land and a generator on CDA land. It does not mention an additional kitchen.

The notice also refers to an affidavit dated March 18, 2019, submitted by the owner at the time of the issuance of a no-objection certificate. According to the notice, the affidavit stated that setback violations would be removed within three months and CDA regulations would be followed. The authority says its record shows that the violations remain unaddressed.
CDA Warns of Sealing and Demolition
CDA has directed that the listed violations be removed within 15 days of the notice’s issuance. It warns that failure to comply could lead to action under the CDA Ordinance and building-control regulations, including sealing or demolition of the violations and proceedings for cancellation of the allotment.
March 18, 2019, fell during Imran Khan’s premiership; National Assembly records list his term as prime minister from August 2018 to April 2022.
