ADCG Sahibzada Yousaf Appointed Director to Interior Minister
Former Islamabad ADC General relinquishes charge after serving for one year and seven months; takes up new assignment as Director to the Federal Interior Minister.
ISLAMABAD: Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Islamabad Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf has relinquished charge of his post in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration following his transfer and has been appointed Director to the Federal Minister for Interior, according to information available with Islamabad Tribune.
Yousaf served as ADC General Islamabad for approximately one year and seven months, during which he remained involved in a range of administrative, regulatory and coordination matters across the federal capital.
His transfer from the ICT Administration follows an Establishment Division notification issued on September 2, which placed his services at the disposal of the Interior and Narcotics Control Division with immediate effect.
His new assignment as Director to the Federal Interior Minister represents a move from Islamabad’s district administration to a role at the federal level.
Role in Islamabad Administration
During his tenure as ADC General, Yousaf was involved in price-control and market-management initiatives, coordination with traders, religious-event arrangements and other administrative responsibilities.
Yousaf is a Pakistan Administrative Service officer from the 47th Common Training Programme. Government records list him among PAS officers of the 47th CTP.
