Dr Anam Fatima Set to Become Islamabad ADC General
Director Municipal Administration Dr Anam Fatima is set to take over the key district administration post following Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf’s transfer to the Interior Division; formal notification is awaited.
ISLAMABAD: Director Municipal Administration (DMA) Dr Anam Fatima is set to be appointed as the new Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Islamabad following the transfer of Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf from the capital’s district administration, according to information available with Islamabad Tribune.
The formal notification regarding Dr Fatima’s new assignment is expected to be issued shortly. Until the notification is issued, the appointment should be treated as an administrative decision awaiting formal orders.
The development follows the transfer of Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf, a BS-18 Pakistan Administrative Service officer, whose services were placed at the disposal of the Interior and Narcotics Control Division through an Establishment Division notification issued on September 2.
Dr Anam Fatima’s Administrative Background
Dr Anam Fatima is also a BS-18 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). An Establishment Division notification shows that she was transferred from the Punjab government in February 2025 and placed at the disposal of the Interior Division for further posting in the Capital Development Authority on deputation.
She was subsequently posted as Director Municipal Administration. Official CDA material from January 2026 also identifies her as Director DMA, while other government records show her holding senior municipal and enforcement responsibilities in the capital.
The proposed appointment would move Dr Fatima into a key ICT Administration position responsible for coordination across a range of administrative and civic matters in the federal capital.
