Naqvi, Faisal Kundi Hold Crucial Talks at Governor House
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived at Governor House Peshawar, where Governor Faisal Karim Kundi received him as the two began talks amid heightened political and security developments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

PESHAWAR: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Peshawar on Sunday and reached Governor House, where Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi received him.
Meeting Underway
A meeting between Naqvi and Governor Kundi is currently underway, with discussions taking place against the backdrop of rapidly developing political and security circumstances in the province.
The visit comes on the same day as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s planned long march and follows unsuccessful negotiations between the federal government and PTI over a range of political and security-related issues.
According to reports, the meeting is expected to cover the prevailing situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security and law-and-order matters, and developments surrounding PTI’s long march.
Earlier, Naqvi said the KP government had stepped back at the final stage from commitments discussed during negotiations, while the provincial side has presented its own account of the proposed agreement.
The meeting between the interior minister and the KP governor is therefore being closely watched amid continuing political consultations over the situation in the province.
