24-Year-Old Man Dies by Suspected Suicide in Islamabad’s Shahzad Town

Police say domestic dispute appears to be the initial motive; investigation and legal proceedings are underway.

ISLAMABAD: A 24-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in the jurisdiction of Shahzad Town Police Station on Friday, police sources said.

According to police, the deceased, identified as Imran, son of Rashid, was found in Bostan, Street No. 5 within the limits of Shahzad Town Police Station. Initial information suggests that the incident may have been linked to a domestic dispute.

Police reached the scene immediately after receiving the report and completed the initial legal formalities. The body was shifted to Polyclinic Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police said further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident, while legal proceedings are continuing.
