ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) successfully concluded a two-week internship program for the 18th batch of students from the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), providing participants with practical exposure to modern traffic management and road safety practices.
Practical Training in Traffic Management
During the internship, students were introduced to key aspects of traffic management, road safety awareness, traffic laws, and the day-to-day operations of various departments within the Islamabad Traffic Police. The program aimed to enhance students’ understanding of traffic policing while promoting responsible road use and civic awareness.
Certificates Distributed at Closing Ceremony
At the closing ceremony, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan (PSP) distributed certificates among the successful interns and appreciated their enthusiasm, commitment, and active participation throughout the program.
She highlighted the importance of engaging young people in public safety initiatives, stating that such internship programs help develop responsible citizens while encouraging greater awareness of road safety and traffic discipline.
