Islamabad Police carried out a major crackdown against organized crime as Phulgran Police arrested four members of an inter-provincial dacoit gang allegedly involved in multiple serious crimes across Islamabad and Punjab.According to Islamabad Police spokesperson, the arrested suspects were wanted in several cases including murder, petrol pump robberies, shop robberies, and armed street crimes within the limits of Phulgran and Bhara Kahu police stations.Police recovered stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees, expensive mobile phones, and weapons with ammunition allegedly used in various criminal activities. Officials said the gang had been operating actively in Islamabad and adjoining areas of Punjab.During initial investigation, the suspects reportedly confessed to involvement in several robberies and violent crimes in the capital. Further investigation is underway to trace additional accomplices and recover more stolen property.DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that Islamabad Police is conducting large-scale operations against organized and active criminal gangs to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
