Man Gunned Down Near Murcha Stop in Tarnol, Police Hunt for Suspects

ISLAMABAD: A man was shot dead after unidentified armed assailants opened fire near Murcha Stop in Tarnol, Islamabad, on Monday. The suspects fled the scene immediately after the attack, while police and rescue teams rushed to the location upon receiving information about the incident.

The victim’s body was shifted to a hospital for legal formalities and a post-mortem examination. Police also collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.

According to police, a search operation is underway to trace and arrest the suspects. The motive behind the murder could not be immediately established, and investigators are examining all possible angles of the case.
