ISLAMABAD: A 13-year-old boy working as a domestic worker was found dead at a residence in Islamabad’s Sector E-11, with police launching an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
The deceased was identified as Riffaqat, who, according to police sources, had arrived in E-11 around two months ago and had been working at a house as a domestic employee.
Initial information attributed to police sources said the boy was found with a ligature around his neck. His body was subsequently shifted to a hospital for medico-legal examination.
Police sources described Riffaqat as quiet by nature and said investigators were examining his personal circumstances alongside other possible factors. Sources claimed that his mother had died and that he had reportedly been distressed over family circumstances involving his father.
However, these details remain part of the preliminary account and should not be treated as an established explanation for his death.
Police Investigate Circumstances
