Four Injured in Gas Leak Explosion at House in Islamabad’s F-15
Initial investigation suggests a geyser gas leak caused the explosion in Sector F-15. Rescue teams extinguished the fire, while the district administration and magistrate reached the scene.

ISLAMABAD: Four members of a family, including two women and two children, were injured after an apparent gas leak triggered an explosion inside a house in Sector F-15, within the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police Station, on Saturday.
According to initial information, the explosion occurred inside a residential property and was followed by a fire. Rescue teams responded promptly and shifted all four injured victims to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The Islamabad district administration confirmed that a magistrate reached the scene immediately after the incident to oversee relief efforts, while rescue personnel successfully brought the fire under control.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the explosion was caused by a gas leak from a geyser, though authorities said a detailed assessment is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
DC Islamabad has urged residents to ensure regular inspection of gas appliances and pipelines to avoid similar accidents, especially during periods of frequent appliance use. Further investigation into the incident is in progress.
