Entire Government Stands With You,’ Naqvi Tells Traders

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday assured representatives of the business community from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan that the federal government stands firmly behind traders and industrialists, emphasizing that ensuring a secure and business-friendly environment remains a national priority.

The assurance came during a meeting with representatives of the Chambers of Commerce from both provinces, who briefed the Interior Minister on the prevailing security situation and the challenges affecting trade, investment, and industrial activity.

Government Pledges Full Support

Mohsin Naqvi informed the delegation about the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen security across the country, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and said all available resources would be utilized to safeguard the business community and address its legitimate concerns.

“The entire government stands with you, and we will resolve all your legitimate issues,” the Interior Minister told the delegation.

Visits to Peshawar and Quetta Planned

He also announced that he would soon visit Peshawar and Quetta, where detailed meetings would be held with business representatives in the presence of senior provincial government officials to formulate practical and long-term solutions to the issues raised.

Business-Friendly Environment a National Priority

Naqvi reiterated that providing a safe and conducive environment for businesses is among the government’s top priorities, stressing that the private sector plays a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy.

He added that the country’s progress is closely linked to the growth and prosperity of its business community and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining close coordination with traders and industrialists.
