The incident comes as heavy rainfall has caused widespread water accumulation and traffic disruption across Rawalpindi, with Double Road among the areas reported to have been significantly affected by Tuesday’s downpour.
According to initial information, the truck became trapped after the road surface gave way. Traffic movement around the affected section was disrupted as motorists faced difficulty passing through the area.
