Man Killed Over Mobile Parcel Payment in Jinnah Garden Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A man was killed following an alleged dispute over the payment of a mobile phone parcel in Islamabad’s Jinnah Garden, police sources said on Monday.

According to the initial investigation, an argument over the payment reportedly escalated into a physical altercation, during which Shahryar Ali sustained fatal injuries.Police said another individual, identified as Nadeem, was also injured in the incident and has been taken into custody as part of the investigation.

According to police sources, the suspect has claimed that Shahryar Ali attacked him first with a knife and that the fatal injuries occurred during the ensuing scuffle. Authorities emphasized that this is the suspect’s version of events and is being examined as part of the investigation.

Police have collected evidence from the crime scene and launched a detailed investigation from multiple angles. Officials said the actual sequence of events, motive, and legal responsibility will be determined after the investigation is completed.
