Islamabad Police Marks One Year of ‘Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos’ with Grand Ceremony at D-Chowk

Islamabad Police organized a grand ceremony at D-Chowk on the occasion of the first anniversary of “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” bringing together police officers, business community leaders, journalists, civil society members, and citizens in a show of unity and solidarity.

The event highlighted the operation’s significance as a milestone in Islamabad’s security landscape, drawing widespread participation from across the city’s social and professional circles.

Addressing the gathering, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasized that Bunyan-un-Marsoos is far more than a security operation.

“Bunyan-un-Marsoos is not just an operation — it is a national ideology that reflects the unity and resilience of our people,” said IG Rizvi.

He further stated that the 11,000-strong Islamabad Police force and 4.4 million citizens of the capital stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s armed forces in safeguarding the country’s security and solidarity.

The ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the collective commitment between law enforcement and the public in maintaining peace and stability in the federal capital.
