ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued an important traffic advisory for citizens due to the movement of cricket teams in the federal capital.According to the advisory, traffic diversions will be placed at different times on Club Road, Murree Road, Express Highway and Srinagar Highway to facilitate the secure movement of the teams.The traffic police warned that the diversions may temporarily affect the normal flow of traffic on these major arteries of Islamabad. Citizens have been advised to plan their travel accordingly and leave at least 20 to 25 minutes earlier than usual to avoid inconvenience.ITP also urged commuters to use alternate routes and service roads during the diversion periods to minimize delays.The advisory stated that Islamabad Traffic Police personnel will remain deployed on roads to facilitate motorists and maintain smooth traffic management throughout the operation.Citizens have further been advised to stay updated through Islamabad Traffic Police’s WhatsApp channel, Islamabad Police social media platforms and ITP FM 92.4 for real-time traffic information and updates.
